OTA
The most reliable way to prove communication performance in real-world usage environments,
OTA testing is an essential process to objectively verify the transmission and reception sensitivity of wireless devices.

Over the Air (OTA) is a test defined by the CTIA (Communications Telecommunications Industry Association) to measure antenna performance in free space and under real-world conditions within an anechoic chamber. OTA testing consists of items verifying the radiated power (TRP) and received signal integrity (TIS) of CTIA wireless terminals, and is targeted at major standards organizations and telecommunications carriers in North America and around the world.
In addition to GSM/WCDMA/LTE OTA testing, A-GPS OTA, which measures the reception sensitivity of GPS receivers embedded in mobile devices in accordance with FCC E911 requirements, and CWG-RF testing, one of the WiFi Alliance test items, are also required.
